Le Moine

Operating from a medieval cellar in Beaune, Lucien Le Moine is the celebrated micro-négociant project of Mounir Saouma and Rotem Brakin. Their unique approach involves purchasing meticulously selected grapes or must from only Premier and Grand Cru vineyards across Burgundy and then undertaking the entire “élevage” (aging process) themselves. This allows for an uncompromising, hands-on philosophy, with extended lees contact and minimal intervention. The resulting wines from Lucien Le Moine are renowned for their extraordinary texture, depth, and complexity, offering a powerful and uniquely personal interpretation of Burgundy’s most hallowed terroirs.
