What’s it Like?

This is a wine of shattering intensity. It pours an opaque, inky black. The nose is a profound abyss of black truffle, blackberry liqueur, dark chocolate, and hot iron (blood orange), with a distinct mineral streak of wet slate. On the palate, it is colossal and full-bodied, coating the mouth with layers of rich, concentrated fruit and velvet-like tannins. Despite its immense power and alcohol, it maintains a strange, magical balance and freshness derived from its icy, windy terroir.
